The southern Delta-Aquariid and the Alpha-Capricornid meteor showers will come to cross the sky with shooting stars on the night of July 30! The combined zenithal hourly rate (ZHR) of the meteor shower (we think of it as the percentage of awesomeness) will be around 30 this more as an opportunity to see more shooting stars than the usual 1-5 per tour, rather than a full blown meteor shower (like the December Geminids with a ZRH of 150).
DISCLAIMER: as much as we are trying to make our stargazing tours match wonderful celestial events at no extra cost, we cannot guarantee the quality of any celestial event beyond the magic of our regular stargazing tours. Shooting stars are rocks falling from the sky and we have no control over that. Think of it as a possible cosmic bonus on the house!
